HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The No. 12 Texas Women's Golf team carded a 10-over-par 294 on Wednesday to finish in a season-best tie for fourth place in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at the Long Cove Club. The Longhorns registered a 54-hole total of 21-over-par 873 (289-290-294). Freshman Bohyun Park led the Longhorns with a runner-up performance, firing an even-par 71 in the final round to put her at two-under-par 211 (70-70-71) for the tournament. Senior Sara Kouskova also finished in the top-five after shooting a one-over-par 72 to finish fifth at even-par 213 (72-69-72).
Park continues her stellar start to her collegiate-career with a UT career-best second place finish. That gives her a total of three top-10 finishes on the year, which currently leads the Longhorns. Her second place finish ties Kouskova for the top finish at a tournament this season (Kouskova placed second at the Stanford Intercollegiate). Park's 54-hole score of 211 marks her lowest 54-hole effort of the season. Park also went 35 straight holes without registering a bogey, starting from hole 12 on Monday and going all the way to hole 10 on Wednesday. Kouskova's fifth place finish marks her second top-10 finish on the season, as well as her fifth top-20 placement of the year.

"I'm really proud of Bo (Park)," Texas head coach Ryan Murphy said. "She played great on a very demanding golf course which is a testament to her game. A putt here or there and she's the winner. Her time is coming soon."
"Sara (Kouskova) played very solid this week as well," Murphy continued. "She's trending in a good direction. There are lots of positives with her game. Our team is trending right now. We are doing a lot of things well. Consistency through the lineup with each player is what we need as we head into the final few months of our season. All in all, I like where we are and the belief that this team has. We are getting better each time we tee it up and our plan is to have the wrinkles ironed out so we can peak at the right time."
