About the dual meet
In a new style of competition, Texas and Virginia will compete in "Super Finals" on Friday. The events will feature 4v4 races of each event and will be followed by a one-on-one race with each winner scoring five points. The Super Finals have already been decided for both teams:
Women's 100m Back – Berit Berglund vs, Alex Walsh
Women's 100m Breast – Anna Elendt vs. Jasmine Nocentini
Women's 100m IM – Alicia Wilson vs. Alex Walsh
Women's 100m Fly – Emma Sticklen vs. Gretchen Walsh

Heat 2 – Emma Davidson vs. Maxine Parker
Heat 3 – Grace Cooper vs. Gretchen Walsh
Saturday's meet will return to traditional dual meet style programming.

Longhorns this season
The Texas women have been off to a dominant start this season, defeating Big 12 opponents in back-to-back meets. They began the season at home in the Dust Off Your Boots Invitational, defeating Houston, 193-103. They followed up with a win over TCU, 192-99. Both Hailey Hernandez and Bridget O'Neil have secured Big 12 Divers of the Week opening the season, while Emma Sticklen and Olivia Bray have led swimming with conference honors.
While in Chile for the Pan American Games, Kelly Pash earned six medals for Team USA. She helped the red, white and blue win the 4x100 medley relay, the 4x200 free relay, earned silver in both the 100 fly and the 4x100 medley relay and a bronze in the 200m fly. Bray took home five medals, two gold (4x200 free, 4x100 medley), two silver (4x100 free, 4x100 medley relay) and bronze in the 100 fly.
Hernandez competed in three events and took home two bronze medals, earning her solo medal on the 1-meter with 261.75 points and won the other with teammate Jordan Skilken on the 3-meter springboard synchronized event with 279.06 points.
