No. 7 Men's Swim and Dive drops dual meet at No. 15 Virginia

Nick Harris and Nate Germonprez led Texas with lone wins on day two of competition.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 7 men's swim and dive team dropped its dual meet against No. 15 Virginia, 109-58, on Saturday.
Nate Germonprez and Nick Harris led Texas on the final day against the Cavaliers with the lone events wins. Harris began the day winning the 1-meter diving event with a score of 379.28 points, while Noah Duperre was second with 364.28 points. Manuel Borowski finished third with 338.10 points.
Germonprez won the 200 IM with his time of 1:46.53, winning his third event of the weekend. Spencer Aurnou-Rhees finished fourth at 1:49.76 to give Texas 11 points from the event.
Will Modglin, Will Scholtz, Germonprez and Luke Hobson combined to finish second in the 400 medley relay with their time of 3:13.70 to tally four team points.
Alec Enyeart later added a runner-up performance in the 1000 free with his time of 9:19.28 for four points, while Sasha Lyubavskiy was third with a time of 9:21.95. Manning Haskal added the final two points with his fourth-place performance and a time of 9:24.00.
Modglin later led Texas in a third-place finish in the 200 breast with his time of 1:46.46 as the lone Texas scorer. Hobson also added a runner-up finish in the 100 free with a time of 44.39 and Camden Taylor finished in 45.26.
Hobson, Taylor, Modglin and Germonprez finished the competition with a second-place finish in the 400 free relay with a time of 2:57.23.
