Texas will look for its first berth in the third round of the NCAA Tournament since 2017 in Friday’s matchup against No. 12 Wisconsin
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Winners of their last six consecutive matches — and a Big 12 Conference postseason tournament championship along the way — the Texas Longhorn women's soccer program will look to make it seven consecutive victories when UT squares off against No. 12 Wisconsin at 1 p.m. CT / 2 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 17 in Tallahassee, Fla.
Jack Kavovit (play by play) and Trevor DeGroot (color analyst) will serve as the match's broadcast talent with viewers able to see the action on ESPN+.
KICKING OFF
- Texas will enter Friday afternoon's match against No. 12 Wisconsin as the only Division I women's soccer program to have multiple student-athletes ranked in the top five in points per game:

- A clean sheet by Mia Justus against the Badgers on Friday would give the Ohio native her 10th shutout on the season, becoming one of just two goalkeepers in program history to have 10-or-more shutouts in a single season.

- A win for Texas against No. 12 Wisconsin would mark the first time the Longhorns have advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament since 2017, when UT knocked off North Texas and Clemson in the first two rounds, respectively, before falling to Duke in the third.
- Throughout its program history, Texas has advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament just four times: 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2017.
- Friday afternoon's match will be the first for Texas against Wisconsin this millennium as the two women's soccer programs have not met on a soccer pitch since Sept. 10, 1999, when the Badgers won, 2-0, in Madison, Wis.
- Despite the result in Sept, the Longhorns do have a win over the Badgers after earning a 4-2 result in Austin on Oct. 26, 1997.

- The all-time series record between the two programs is 1-1-0 with each earning a victory on its home pitch.
