Records fall in Clemson and Boston for the Longhorns.
CLEMSON, S.C. – Records are meant to be broken and that's exactly what Marcellus Moore and Valery Tobias of the No. 4/1 track and field program did during the fifth week of the indoor season.
Moore had a day running three 60m dashes on his way to breaking the Texas record on Friday night. He advanced to the semi-finals after a time of 6.68 and dropped his time to 6.61 seconds to advance to the finals. Moore went on to finish second behind New Balance athlete Trayvon Bromell with a program record time of 6.56, which ranks as the fourth-fastest time in the NCAA this season.
