Beach Volleyball wraps up Long Beach tournament

The Longhorns return to Texas after the first 10 matches in program history.
LONG BEACH, Calif – Texas Beach Volleyball wrapped up its trip to Long Beach with matches against Utah and No. 16 Stetson on Saturday at Long Beach City College.
The Longhorns will play one more tournament in their inaugural season, in Fort Worth on March 24-25 against Missouri State, Grand Canyon and No. 1 TCU.
The pair of Molly Phillips and Madisen Skinner won their second match of the season, defeating Grace Andrews/Marissa Koch of Utah as the Longhorns came up just short with a 3-2 loss.
Marina Crownover and Jenna Wenaas also picked up a win, defeating Abby Karich/Bella Vezzani.
Keonilei Akana and Devin Kahahawai came up just short, taking their match to three sets and dropping the final set 15-11. Bella Bergmark and Reilly Heinrich were also narrowly defeated in three sets.
