Baseball lands three All-Americans in 2023

Lucas Gordon, Lebarron Johnson Jr. and Dylan Campbell were honored as All-Americans.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball landed three All-Americans following the 2023 season with LHP Lucas Gordon, RHP Lebarron Johnson Jr. and OF Dylan Campbell.
Gordon was recognized as a First Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball and received several second team nods from other organizations. The Big 12 Pitcher of the Year, Gordon finished with a 7-2 record and a 2.63 ERA. The Los Angeles, Calif. Product struck out 103 batters in 102.2 innings pitched.
Johnson received second team recognition from Collegiate Baseball and landed on the ABCA third team. A First Team All-Big 12 selection, Johnson posted an 8-4 record with a 2.91 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 86.2 innings pitched.
Campbell was named to the Baseball America and NCBWA All-America Third Team. Also a First Team All-Big 12 player, Campbell batted .339 and led the Longhorns with 65 runs scored and 26 stolen bases. He finished with 19 doubles, 13 homers, 50 RBI and had a Texas and Big 12 record 38 game hitting streak.
