No. 23 Baseball’s Belyeu named Big 12 Co-Player of the Week

The sophomore outfielder led the Longhorns to a tough road series win over Texas Tech.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 23 Texas Baseball's Max Belyeu has been named the Big 12 Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Belyeu mashed a home run in each of Texas' three games against the Red Raiders to help the Longhorns pick up a ranked road series win in Lubbock. In the rubber match, the sophomore from Aledo, Texas went 4-for-5 and notched two doubles, one home run, three RBI and two runs scored.
He finished the series with seven hits, six runs, seven RBI and three home runs. It is his first career weekly honor.
Texas opens a season-long 10-game homestand by hosting Incarnate Word at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
