AUSTIN, Texas – Texas will look to close outs the non-conference portion of its regular season schedule with an undefeated mark for just the fourth time in program history when the Longhorns and Houston Christian Huskies meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12.
TELEVISION: Chris Sylvester will call Thursday night's action on the SEC Network+ stream that will be available to watch on the ESPN app.

- Texas is 6-0-0 all time against the Southland Conference with the last matchup occurring on Nov. 10, 2023, when the Longhorns beat Lamar, 2-0, in the opening round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament in a match played in Austin.

- A win over Houston Christian would mark just the fourth time in program history that the Longhorns went undefeated against non-conference opponents during the regular season:
- 2018: 8-0-1
- 2017: 8-0-0
- 2008: 7-0-1

- Missimo will move into a tie for 19th on the NCAA Division I career assist list once she records her 55th career assist.
- If Texas freshman forward Amalia Villarreal records two points against the Huskies on Thursday night, it'll mark the first time a Longhorn freshman women's soccer student-athlete has recorded a streak of three-or-more consecutive matches with two-or-more points since Trinity Byars did so from Sept. 23 to Sept. 30, 2021.
