Bayleigh Cranford highlights Thursday night's 3-meter competition with a third-place finish.
AUSTIN, Texas – Bayleigh Cranford led Texas with a third-place finish in the 3-meter final on the opening day of the Texas Diving Invitational at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
In a strong field, the Longhorns advanced three divers to Thursday night's final. Cranford secured third with a score of 333.20 points. Sarah Carruthers followed in fourth with 298.75, while Caroline Kupka placed eighth with 285.10.
The women will continue competition Friday with the 1-meter prelims at 10 a.m., followed by finals at 5 p.m.
