Head Coach Laura Ianello
"I was very proud of the women today for shooting the low score of 6-under-par, led with Farah's 5-under, Lauren Kim's 3-under and Angela's even par. The conditions were tough this week. The first round we had 20s, up to 30s and 40s gusts of wind and we hadn't really seen that this spring and were not as prepared as we needed to be. We readjusted and we were in a position we were not used to being in, at the bottom of the leaderboard and they fought their tails off today to have a respectable finish in a top field. I'm really proud of their effort. We are home for 10 days. We have to battle some cold days and get ready for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, where Farah O'Keefe will be defending her title. We had another different lineup and this lineup is really competitive and fluid and we are trying to figure that out. I'm proud of the team and their effort this week and they had great attitudes which I really appreciate."
