No. 1 Men’s Diving’s Harris, Borowski qualify for NCAAs in 3-meter

Nick Harris and Manuel Borowski qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championships in the 3-meter while Jacob Welsh and Jacob Jones also placed in the top-12 and will be able to enter the event at the national meet.
IOWA CITY, Iowa – No. 1 Texas Men's Diving's Nick Harris and Manuel Borowski qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championships in the 3-meter Tuesday afternoon at the CRWC Natatorium.
Texas once again led the field after sending six to the 3-meter finals Tuesday.
Harris, a junior from Chester Springs, Pa., earned a third-place finish with a final score of 758.40. It's the second event Harris has qualified for after he posted a runner-up finish in the 1-meter (743.40) on Monday. Borowski, a senior hailing from Southlake, Texas, achieved qualification after accumulating 701.95 total points to finish ninth. Freshmen Jacob Welsh (10th-688.30) and Jacob Jones (11th-680.25) finished inside the top-12 and will be able to enter the event at the national meet after the duo qualified in the 1-meter on Monday. Freshman Luke Forester placed 13th with 675.85 points and sophomore Pierce Brooke totaled 618.90 points to finish 17th, respectively. Through two events (1 and 3-meter), four Longhorns (Harris, Borowski, Jones and Welsh) have qualified for the NCAA Championships in at least one event.
The NCAA Zone D Diving Championships continues at 4:15 p.m. CT Wednesday with the men's platform prelims. Finals for the event are scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m.
