Texas Head Coach Laura Ianello
"I'm really proud of how our ladies competed this week to win this tournament. It is our third win of the season and I think we have been very consistent all season long. It was great to see how we fought after not finishing great last week."
"Lauren Kim finished great last week at the Darius Rucker, so she has been knocking at the door the last two events. It was great to see her get the victory, as well as Cindy Hsu, who finished right behind her by one shot. This is exactly what we need this time of year, gaining confidence and growing momentum. This is a national championship caliber team, so I think this is perfect timing before we go to the colonial tournament next week. Everyone has been working hard and trusting the process in what it needs to be.
