- The women's 4x400-meter relay earned the final spot at the championships with their time of 3:30.80. Lauren Lewis, Akala Garrett, Kenondra Davis and Ramiah Elliott recorded the time in New Mexico back in early February. Holly Okuku will join the Horns as the alternate.
- Texas is searching for the third NCAA Team Title under Head Coach Edrick Floréal. Flo led the Longhorn men to its first-ever NCAA title during the 2022 indoor season and led the women to the NCAA outdoor title in 2023.
- Since Flo took over on the Forty Acres, the men have won seven NCAA titles, including the DMR, and the women have won 14 titles, including two 4x100-meter relays.
