No. 6 Women’s Golf moves up to third place after round two of SEC Championship

Lauren Kim shoots 1-under 69 to lead the Longhorns on day two.
BELLEAIR, Fla. — The Texas women's golf team carded 15 birdies and moved into third place after the second round of the SEC Championship at Pelican Golf Club on Tuesday.
The Longhorns continued the tournament with an even-par 280 team score in round two. South Carolina leads the field at 20-under after a 6-under score in the second round. LSU is second at 6-under and Texas is third at 1-under for the tournament.
Lauren Kim shot 1-under 69 and made three birdies. Kim is tied for eighth on the individual leaderboard. Farah O'Keefe carded a round of even-par today and is 3-under for the tournament and T5 on the leaderboard.
The Longhorns will be paired with South Carolina and LSU in round three and will tee off hole one at 7:00 a.m. CT.
The Lineup
Farah O'Keefe made four birdies for her round and carded a score of even-par 70. O'Keefe is T5 on the leaderboard at 3-under and is four shots back of the leader.
Lauren Kim went 1-under over her first nine holes with a birdie on 17. Kim made three birdies for the round and is T8 at 2-under for the tournament.
Bohyun Park went 2-under over her first nine holes and made three birdies in her round for an even-par 70.
Cindy Hsu birdied the first and fourth holes and carded a 5-over 75.
Angela Heo carded three birdies and posted a score of 1-over 71 in her second round. Heo made a 25-foot putt for birdie on hole 14.
