AS A JUNIOR (2016)
Earned playing time in 22 contests with a pair of starts (batting .250 in 16 total at-bats while rating third on the team with four total hits off the bench) ... Blasted one of Texas’ five solo HR’s during a 5-0 blanking of #16 Texas A&M in the opener of the NCAA Lafayette Regional (May 20) ... Walked and scored a run as a pinch hitter in the 15-2 (5 inn.) rout of Iowa State (May 6) ... Drew an a-bat off the bench in the finale at #12/9 Oklahoma and walked ... Walked as a pinch hitter in the 3-2 triumph at UTSA (April 6) ... Scored her first run of the season during the 8-0 (5 inn.) rout of UTEP (April 5) ... Made pinch hitting appearances against Tulsa (February 27), Weber State (February 28) and BYU (Gm-1 on April 2) ... Was as effective as a pinch hitter could possibly be during the Texas Classic with three hits and a walk in three (official) pinch-hit at-bats while going 3-for-4 on the weekend with a double, two walks and a RBI ... Doubled as part of a three-run, fifth inning rally to help UT crawl out of a 5-2 hole to a tie in a eventual 6-5 (8 inn.) victory over North Carolina (February 12) ... Saw action in 37 games in 2015 with seven starts (batted .244 with 11 runs scored, 12 walks, two HR’s and eight RBIs), often appearing as the go-to pinch hitter late in games ... Reached safely in a career-high five straight contests from March 16-April 1 ... Walked as a pinch hitter in the 4-3 (9 inn.) loss to San Diego State (May 16) in NCAA Los Angeles Regional action ... Called upon as a pinch hitter against Texas A&M-CC and delivered a base knock and a run in the 11-2 (5 inn.) victory (April 7) ... Registered five of her eight career RBIs over two pinch-hit at-bats against Arkansas (March 16) and UTSA (March 24) ... Posted a career-best two hits in four at-bats during UT’s 7-5 victory at No. 22 Kansas (March 29) ... Continued her clutch hitting off the bench by lacing a walk-off, two-RBI single up the middle in the seventh inning to finish a doubleheader sweep of UTSA, 3-2 (March 24) ... Blasted a key pinch-hit, three-run HR to bring Texas back from a 5-2 deficit in an 8-6 (8 inn.) series finale win at Arkansas (March 16) ... AS A FRESHMAN (2014)
Saw action in 17 games as a pinch runner or pinch hitter … tabbed to Fall 2013 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll … took over second base against Louisiana Tech (Feb. 15) and pounded out first career hit … drew a walk in a pinch hit appearance against Cal Poly (Feb. 20) … scored three runs on the year, including one in back-to-back days against Oklahoma State (April 25-26).
TRAVEL BALL
During the summer, played with the Texas Sudden Impact Gold along with former Longhorn Erin Shireman and current teammate Kelli Hanzel ... Impact placed third at the Triple Crown Nationals and ninth (out of 68) at the ASA Gold Nationals during the summer of 2013 ... Impact finished second at the 2012 ASA Gold Nationals, third at the 2012 Colorado Fireworks tournament, third at the 2011 ASA Gold Nationals and fourth at the 2010 ASA Gold Nationals ... posted a .567 batting average with 13 runs batted in and 10 scored during the bracket play portion of the 2012 ASA Gold Nationals.
BEFORE TEXAS
A four-year starter and leadoff batter for head coach Christie Rees’ Falcons ... by earning a spot on the 2011 Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) 4A All-State Team, became the first softball player in Foster High School history to receive all-state accolades ... capped career by leading team to a 4A University Interscholastic League (UIL) State Softball Tournament appearance ... squad suffered a 10-5 setback in 12 innings to Lovejoy in the semifinals ... Falcons ended the season with a 31-5 record, tied for the most victories in program history with the 2012 squad ... individually, earned a spot on the TGCA 4A All-State Team ... named the Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association (TXSWA) 4A Co-Player of the Year as a senior and the 4A First Team shortstop by the organization ... hit a school-record 15 home runs and added 49 RBIs and 58 runs during final campaign ... named the Houston Chronicle May 5 Player of the Week after hitting .727 in three playoff wins over Goose Creek Memorial and Tomball Memorial, going eight-for-11 with four doubles, six runs scored and four RBIs ... as a junior, the District 23-4A Offensive Most Valuable Player after helping the Falcons to a 31-3 record and district championship with a 14-0 mark ... the 31 wins for Foster were the most in program history and the team advanced to the regional semifinals of the state tournament before falling 2-1 to Little Cypress-Mauriceville ... as a sophomore, set school records for at bats (135), walks (17), runs scored (40), triples (six) and home runs (10) while hitting .439 ... named the Fort Bend Herald Co-Hitter of the Year following the impressive season ... also suited up for the Foster volleyball team as a senior, helping the team to the state tournament ... earned a place on the TGCA 4A Softball Academic All-State Team as a senior.
