AS A JUNIOR (2013)
A power hitter who can change the game with one swing of the bat ... earned starts in 54 of the team’s 61 contests with 35 at first base, 10 as the designated player and nine at second base ... team went 10-0 during her starts as the DP ... posted a career-high 23 walks and .401 on-base percentage ... drove in the game-winning run in both contests against Florida State in the NCAA Austin Super Regional, carrying program to its first Women’s College World Series appearance since 2006 ... ended the campaign with a team second-best seven game-winning RBIs ... during the NCAA Tournament, recorded third-highest batting average on the team at .350 (seven-for-20) ... hit .667 (four-for-six) during the NCAA Austin Super Regional and paced the squad with three RBIs in the sweep of Florida State ... had a 1.333 slugging percentage in the two contests against the Seminoles ... hit .352 (25-for-71) in home games with 17 of year’s 22 RBIs ... posted UT’s second-best batting average of .464 (13-for-28) and second-best slugging percentage of .714 in April ... matched career high with two runs scored against South Carolina (May 18) in the NCAA Austin Regional and tied career best with two hits during the contest ... provided Texas’ run in the opener against No. 1/1 Oklahoma (April 19) with a solo home run to left center ... finished the Iowa State series (April 12-14) with a .571 batting average (four-for-seven) and .714 slugging percentage ... hit game-winning grand slam versus Western Kentucky (April 6), accounting for game’s only runs ... drove in the winning runs against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 7), Memphis (Feb. 9) and Houston (Feb. 16).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012)
Made 41 starts in 52 games while serving as the team’s starting first baseman 38 times … posted the fifth-best slugging percentage on the team with a .579 mark … placed fourth on the squad with nine home runs … one of four Longhorns with a perfect fielding percentage … trailed only catcher Mandy Ogle (446) in putouts with 166 … notched 10 multiple-hit games and added eight multi-RBI contests … one of 10 Longhorns to hit .300 or better during home contests, posting a .313 (20-for-64) average … went two-for-three with a home run and two RBIs on April 14 at Kansas … hammered a grand slam while recording a career-high five RBIs in a two-for-three performance at Houston (March 28) … clubbed a home run at Iowa State (March 24) in a two-for-three day with two RBIs … compiled a season-high six-game hitting streak from March 16 through March 30 … recorded a home run in three straight games (March 4 vs. Sam Houston State, March 6 vs. Texas Tech and March 13 at Hawai’i) … hit a two-run, walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh in the Longhorns’ 2-1 win against San Diego State (Feb. 23) … hit first homer of the season on Feb. 11 against UTSA.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011)
Appeared in 38 games, primarily as a pinch hitter … registered a pinch-hit RBI double as the Longhorns upended No. 18 Oklahoma State, 6-3 (March 2) … doubled, scored a pair of runs and stole a base in UT’s 9-2 win against Fresno State (March 18) … hit a three-run pinch-hit homer to help propel Texas to a 12-0 victory over No. 4 Washington (March 17) … recorded two hits, two runs scored and a stolen base in Texas’ 9-0 win against Cal Poly (Feb. 25) … scored two runs and drew a walk in UT’s 15-1 win over Wisconsin (Feb. 17).
NATIONALLY
Played club softball for Mizuno Pride out of Torrance, Calif., under head coach Lew Currier.
BEFORE TEXAS
A four-year letterwinner, starting career at Washington High School in Los Angeles before transferring to Torrance High School … two-time All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) First Team selection (2008-09) … three-time All-Pioneer League selection (2008-10) … three-time Daily Breeze All-Area team pick (2008-10) … paced her squad to Pioneer League championships in 2008 and 2010 … led her 2010 squad to a CIF Southern Section Division IV Semifinal finish, while her 2008 club ended its season as a Division V Finalist … posted a .408 batting average, .523 on-base percentage and a .606 slugging mark as a senior in 2010.
