Started 59 of team’s 60 contests and led squad with four triples and 27 stolen bases … third among the Longhorns with 43 runs scored … paced UT with nine sacrifice bunts … finished fifth on the team with 57 hits … checked in second in the Big 12 Conference in steals … swiped two bases in a game four times … recorded a team third-best 16 games with two or more hits … added five multi-RBI contests … opened 52 games as the center fielder with the team going 42-10 (.808 winning percentage) in such contests … UT’s primary No. 2 hitter, starting 48 games in that spot … had the fourth-best average of any Longhorn during home games at .343 (34-for-99) … went two-for-two with a pair of runs batted in against No. 23 Baylor (May 13) … hit a triple in a two-for-four game at No. 25 Baylor (April 18) … tallied two hits with a double and two RBIs against No. 25 New Mexico (March 30) … posted three hits versus Winthrop (March 16) during Spring Fling Tournament in Honolulu after three-hit game March 15 against Marist … tied a career high with a seven-game hitting streak from Feb. 29 against Texas State (game one of doubleheader) through March 13 at Hawai’i … had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs against No. 7 UCLA (Feb. 25) … against No. 10 Tennessee (Feb. 19) with a 1-2 count with two outs and trailing 2-1, hit a two-run, inside-the-park home run to right center for the 3-2 victory … opened the season with a three-for-four performance against Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 9), tying career best with four RBIs while adding a triple.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011)
Set the UT single-season stolen base record with 38 and ranked second in the Big 12 Conference … stood atop the league with five triples … placed third on the team with 54 hits, 45 runs scored and 26 walks … posted two hits and a run scored in 5-3 victory against No. 14 Oklahoma (May 1) … recorded three hits and scored twice at Texas Tech (April 23) … notched two hits, two runs scored, first career homer and three stolen bases in 8-0 win over UT Arlington (April 19) … went three-for-three with three runs scored, two RBIs and a stolen base in an 8-0 victory against North Texas (April 14) … combined to go five-for-seven with four RBIs, three runs scored, a double and a triple in two-game sweep of Kansas (March 26-27) … four RBIs in game two versus the Jayhawks was season high … posted two hits, two runs and an RBI in win against DePaul (March 17) … recorded a career-best four stolen bases and added two hits versus Pittsburgh (March 4) … tallied two hits, a pair of RBIs and a run scored against Cal Poly (Feb. 25) … doubled, tripled, scored three runs, walked twice and stole three bases in 12-4 win over Colorado State (Feb. 19) … registered a Texas-record two triples and added a single, RBI and two runs scored against Wisconsin (Feb. 17).
NATIONALLY
Played club softball for Cal Lite under head coaches Pam Newton and Vick Stewart … led club to a 25th-place finish at the 2007 and 2008 ASA 18U Gold National Championships and a sixth-place finish at the 2010 ESPN/Rise tournament.
BEFORE TEXAS
A two-sport standout in softball and track at Cajon High School … three-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America selection (2008-10), including first-team selection as a senior … four-time All-San Andreas League First-Team and all-county selection … named team MVP in 2010, earned team coach’s award in 2009 and claimed rookie of the year honors in 2007 … posted a .424 batting average, .490 on-base percentage, .647 slugging percentage and 1.000 fielding percentage as a senior in 2010 while adding 137 career stolen bases … shined on the track in the long jump, 100, 200 and 4x100-meter relay … led squad to the San Andreas Championship in 2010 and broke the 30-year-old San Andreas League long jump record with her 18-4 mark … three-time track team MVP (2007-09) … 2010 All-San Andreas First Team pick in the long jump, 100 and 200 meters.
