Men’s Tennis opens 2025 fall tournament play at Battle in the Bay Classic

Two Longhorns will compete in the tournament being held in San Francisco from Sept. 11-14.
Austin – Texas Men's Tennis will open 2025 fall tournament play at the Battle in the Bay Classic in San Francisco from Sept. 11-14.
Two Longhorns will compete in both singles and doubles competition, including senior No. 12 Sebastian Gorzny, who is the singles third seed, and freshman Lucas Marionneau.
Both singles and doubles begin Thursday with Gorzny and Marionneau starting out in the doubles round of 16 at 9 a.m. PT/11 a.m. CT against 4 seed Cosme Rolland De Ravel and Duncan Chan of TCU.
Later in the singles round of 32, Marionneau will then take on Niels Villard of Arizona State at 10:45 a.m. PT/12:45 p.m. CT, while Gorzny will play Avery Tallakson of Boise State at 1:30 p.m. PT/3:30 p.m. CT.
