No. 2 Women’s Swimming’s Cox earns SEC Swimmer of the Week

Cox notches third conference weekly honor for 2025-2026 campaign.
AUSTIN, Texas — University of Texas sophomore Jillian Cox earned her third Southeastern Conference Swimmer of the Week distinction this season, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
At the Eddie Rees Texas Showdown, Cox won two individual events against No. 6 Louisville and No. 12 Ohio State. Cox touched the wall first in the 500 free with an NCAA qualifying time of 4:34.28 and the 1650 free with an NCAA qualifying time of 15:44.61.
The Longhorns' women's team has claimed seven SEC weekly honors this fall: Jillian Cox (Oct. 14, Nov. 25 and Jan. 27) Eva Okaro (Oct. 14), Campbell Stoll (Oct. 28), Nikki Padar (Oct. 28) and Bayleigh Cranford (Oct. 28).
