Texas women's golf head coach Laura Ianello
"This wasn't our strongest week, but even after a mediocre finish, my message to the team was simple: "Good." Moments like this are valuable. They remind us that we must continue to train harder and smarter to be fully prepared for our next event. The conditions were challenging and windy, but ultimately our short games held us back. We didn't capitalize on key birdie opportunities. Over the next 11 days, we will place a strong emphasis on sharpening our wedge play and tightening up scoring inside 100 yards as we prepare for the Darius Rucker. We depart for South Carolina in 10 days for another elite field competing against some of the best teams in the country. We're looking forward to the opportunity and the growth that comes with it."
