Senior is one of 16 standouts highlighted for community service
AUSTIN, Texas — University of Texas student-athlete Jayden Duplantier was tabbed to the 2026 Southeastern Conference Community Service Team, the league office announced Wednesday morning.
The SEC names a Community Service Team for each of its 22-league sponsored sports, aiming to highlight a student-athlete for each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts.
During his four years on The Forty Acres, Duplantier has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving both the campus and local community through leadership, mentorship and civic engagement.
On campus, Duplantier has participated in voter registration and civic engagement initiatives through 'RISE to Vote.' The Humble, Texas, native has also helped welcome the next generations of Longhorns by providing campus tours and assist with new student-athlete orientation.
Within the Austin community, Duplantier has spent time with the National Beep Baseball Association, sharing America's pastime with individuals who are blind and visually impaired.
