No. 6 Baseball trio earn Perfect Game All-America recognition

Longhorns’ three selections tie Florida for most of any SEC program
AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Longhorns standouts Dylan Volantis, Sam Cozart and Aiden Robbins garnered All-America distinction, Perfect Game announced Tuesday afternoon.
Volantis and Cozart both landed on the first team, while Robbins received third-team recognition.
The Longhorns' three selection match Florida for the most of any SEC program. Georgia Tech is the lone program nationally with four honorees.

A two-time Perfect Game First Team All-American, Volantis has notched the second-lowest FIP (1.78) and the fourth-best ERA (2.03) in the country.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound left-hander also sits 14th in WHIP (1.02) and 16th in B/AVG (.192). He leads the SEC in all four categories.
Volantis has posted a 10-1 ledger in 16 appearances, including 15 starts.
As of June 10, he paces all qualifying hurlers in career ERA (2.00).
Cozart joined Volantis on the top team, earning his first career All-America accolade one day after being named Perfect Game's Co-Freshman Pitcher of the Year.
Among Division I hurlers (min. 45 inn), the 6-foot-6, 260-pound righty ranks first in WHIP (0.69) and batting average against (.132). Cozart's 1.64 ERA also checks in second, trailing only Perfect Game Pitcher of the Year Jackson Flora (1.06).
The High Point, N.C., native sports a 6-0 mark and nine saves, tying Portland's Alex Via for the most of any freshman nationally.
A finalist for the NCBWA Stopper of the Year award, Cozart has registered 71 strikeouts and issued just 12 walks.
One of the top collegiate draft prospects in the country, Robbins collected the first All-America plaudit of his illustrious career.
Heading into the Men's College World Series, Robbins has recorded a .342/.435/.720 slash line with 24 home runs and 64 RBI. The SEC Newcomer of the Year's 24 blasts are tied for the third-most by a Longhorn in a single season, matching Kody Clemens (2018).
Overall, Robbins leads the club in eight offensive categories, boasting a team-high 27 multi-hit games and 19 multi-RBI performances.
Within the SEC, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound outfielder sports the second-most homers, fifth-highest total bases (162) and slugging percentage, sixth-most RBI and seven-best OPS (1.155).
