Kingham becomes 120th Longhorn to reach MLB

Right-hander posted 3.75 ERA in 57 appearances on The Forty Acres
AUSTIN, Texas — Former Texas Longhorns right-handed pitcher Nolan Kingham was called up from Triple-A Round Rock by the Texas Rangers on Saturday.
Kingham, who played for the Longhorns from 2016-18, logged a 4.56 ERA across 513 innings pitched in six seasons of Minor League Baseball.
With the promotion, Kingham becomes the 120th Texas player to make it to the big leagues.
Prior to being chosen by the Atlanta Braves in the 12th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, Kingham notched a 20-12 mark and a 3.75 ERA in 57 appearances on The Forty Acres.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound hurler earned First Team All-Big 12 Conference honors in 2017 before helping the Longhorns reach the Men's College World Series in 2018.
