Longhorns begin Omaha run against Bulldogs at 7 p.m. Saturday
AUSTIN, Texas — No. 6 Texas will face No. 3 Georgia in its opening game of the 2026 Men's College World Series at Charles Schwab Field, the NCAA announced Monday morning.
The Longhorns (45-13) will open play in Omaha against the Bulldogs (51-12) at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The winner between the SEC's top two programs will square off against the winner of No. 7 Alabama and Oklahoma at 6 p.m. Monday. Meanwhile, the pair of losing teams will meet up in an elimination contest at 1 p.m. Monday.
Texas is making its 39th appearance in the Men's College World Series. The Longhorns also hold the record for the most individual games won in Omaha (88), the most overall NCAA Tournament victories (270) and the most postseason berths (65).
