· Ranked second on the Texas team in hitting percentage with a .415 attack mark ... tied for team lead in blocks per game (1.26) and ranked second with 122 total blocks
· Tallied six blocks, three service aces and five kills in the season opener against No. 3 Penn State
· Hit at a .615 clip, tallying nine kills in 13 attempts and four blocks versus Pepperdine (9/7)
· Posted 11 kills on .500 hitting and added two digs and three block assists versus Iowa State (9/19)
· Established a career-high 11 blocks for a Texas team that recorded 20 total blocks at Texas Tech (9/26) - the most blocks since UT posted 22.0 against Akron in 2002
· Recorded a career-high hitting percentage (.833) with 10 kills versus Colorado (9/28)
· Led Texas with nine block assists and added 13 kills against Kansas State (10/6)

· Entered the season as Texas[apos] all-time leader in hitting percentage with a .363 mark, which stands as she enters her fifth season
AS A JUNIOR (2005)
· Appeared in all 29 matches, starting 28, for a total of 99 games
· Led the team in hitting percentage (.377) and was ranked 24th nationally and third in the Big 12 in the category
· Her .377 mark was the third-highest single-season average in UT history
· Recorded double-figure kills in a career-high 16 matches and averaged 3.24 kills per game and 4.04 points per game
· Hit .500 or better in nine matches with another five matches at .375 or better
· Had 11 matches with five or more blocks while averaging 1.10 blocks per game, the 15th-best mark in the Big 12
· Had 20 matches with double-figure points, including seven 20-plus point efforts
· Had 24 aces on the year and was ranked 13th in Big 12 (conference matches only) in aces per game (0.31)
· Topped 800 career kills and 300 career blocks in the victory over Nebraska
· Earned Co-Big 12 Player of the Week honors on Nov. 28 for her performances against OU and NU
· Recorded 19 kills and tied a career-high with eight digs and a tied career-high with eight blocks at Notre Dame (9/3)

AS A SOPHOMORE (2004)
· Started all 31 matches in the middle and played in 104 of 105 games
· Recorded double-figure kills in 13 matches, including five of the last seven of the season
· Finished the season ranked 44th nationally and fourth in the Big 12 (fifth in conference matches only) in hitting percentage with a .358 mark ... totaled 301 kills on 640 attacks
· Had 24 aces and 103 blocks (12 solo and 91 block assists)
· Registered 13 kills on 23 attacks (.565 attack percentage) against Cal Poly (9/4) and then nine kills on 16 attacks (.562 attack percentage) against Northern Arizona (9/4)
· Went errorless in back-to-back matches (Cal Poly and Northern Arizona on 39 attacks)
· Earned SMU Invitational All-Tournament Team and Time Warner Cable Texas Invitational All-Tournament honors
· Had a career-high six aces in Texas[apos] victory over LSU (9/10)
· Chipped in 15 kills and four digs in the team[apos]s 3-2 victory over Colorado (9/18)
· Had a career match at Colorado (11/3) with career highs in kills (24), attempts (31) and hitting percentage (.732) and matched her season high in blocks (seven: one solo, six block assists), earning Big 12 Player of the Week honors for her play against the Buffs
· Had an error-free evening with 12 kills on 19 attacks (.632 attack percentage) and added one dig and two blocks in the team[apos]s NCAA Tournament first round victory over Texas State (12/3)
· Added 13 kills and a .545 attack percentage with three digs and three blocks against Michigan in the second round of the NCAA Tournament (12/4).
AS A FRESHMAN (2003)
· Played in 94 games and started all 26 matches she played
· Led the team in hitting percentage (.352) and blocks (96) and posted 220 kills on the season, the third-highest total on the team
· Finished second in the Big 12 in hitting percentage and third in conference matches
· Recorded two double-figure kill matches, including a high of 16 against Houston (9/26)
· Had a career-high 8.0 blocks (all block assists) in the team[apos]s 3-2 victory over Texas A&M at Gregory Gym (10/1)
· Earned Time Warner Cable Texas Invitational All-Tournament honors after averaging 11.3 kills per match and connecting for a .538 hitting percentage in the team[apos]s three matches.

A 2003 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 recruit ... a 2002 Orange County Register First-Team pick ... named Capistrano Valley High School Athlete of the Year ... a 2002 Second-Team All-CIF selection ... voted Capistrano Valley team MVP as both a junior and senior ... was the South Coast League MVP as a senior while earning All-League honors as a junior and senior ... under high school coach Rich Polk, the Cougars won the South Coast League in 2001 and 2002 while reaching the CIF semifinals in 2002 ... played club volleyball for the Saddleback Valley Volleyball Club for George Carey, Jr., which placed fourth at the Davis Festival in 2001.

Full name is Brandy Michelle Magee ... daughter of Melanie and the late Kevin Magee ... has two brothers, Jeremy (24) and Jacob (10) ... born on March 3, 1985 in Petach Tikva, Israel ... her father played basketball at UC Irvine (1980-82) and in the European Pro Leagues for 12 years (1982-94) ... her mother played basketball at the University of South Alabama (1978-80) ... started her freshman year wearing No. 4, but changed to No. 44 in honor of her father[apos]s memory after his death in October of 2003 ... received the 2004-05 and 2006-07 Carolyn Frost Keenan Endowed Presidential Scholarship and the 2005-06 Sylvie and Gary Crum Endowed Legacy Scholarship ... corporate communication major.
