· Saw her first career action and recorded her first assist in a 3-1 loss at No. 3 Penn State (8/24)
· Recorded a season-high five digs in a 3-0 loss at No. 1 Nebraska (9/12)
· Teamed with former Longhorn Michelle Moriarty at the 2008 Collegiate Beach National Championships in San Diego, Calif., winning their pool and earning a runner-up finish in the B-Flight.

A two-time All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) First Team selection (2005, 2002) ... captained her Westview squad for four years and led the Wolverines to a pair of CIF Championship runner-up finishes in 2004 and 2005, after pacing her team to a CIF quarterfinals appearance in 2002 and a semifinals showing in 2003 ... competed for Epic Volleyball Club with fellow Longhorn freshman Juliann Faucette ... her Epic team placed third at the 2006 Junior Olympics Festival in Atlanta, Ga. and claimed first-place honors at the Davis Festival in 2004 and third-place accolades in 2002 ... All-Palomar League First Team in 2004-2005 ... All-Avocado League in 2002-03 ... earned Westview Team MVP honors as a senior, in addition to collecting her second Coca-Cola Golden Spike Award (2005, 2003) ... garnered All-CIF Second Team honors in 2004 ... named team defensive player of the year (most digs) her sophomore and junior seasons at Westview ... a four-year California Interscholastic Federation scholar athlete award winner.
