• teamed up with Agustin Magruder, Ricky Berens and Dave Walters to place fourth in the 400 medley relay (3:03.92) at the NCAA Championships; led off the relay in 45.17
• joined Scott Jostes, Magruder and Jimmy Feigen to set a new American record and place fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:23.97) at the NCAA Championships; split 20.12 on the butterfly leg
• placed third in the 100 backstroke (45.41), fifth in the 100 butterfly (45.48) and sixth in the 200 backstroke (1:40.54) at the NCAA Championships
