Outdoor:
• Made his Texas debut with a podium-topping 71.75m/235-5 mark in the javelin throw at the UTSA Invitational.
• Finished seventh in the javelin throw (71.20m/233-7) at the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
• Earned a pair of top-three finishes in the javelin at The Reveille Meet and the National Relay Championships.
• Won the Big 12 javelin title with a season-best 74.48m/244-4 mark at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.
• Placed fifth in the javelin at the NCAA West Region Preliminary Rounds.
• Earned second-team All-America honors with a 15th-place finish in the javelin at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
PRIOR TO TEXAS
• A native of Newberg, Ore. and graduated from Stanford with a degree in computer science
• Earned first-team All-America honors in 2018 with a fourth-place finish in the javelin at NCAA Outdoors
• Broke the Stanford school record with a throw of 71.8m/235-7
• Was Stanford's first NCAA men's javelin qualifier since 2001
• Finished 10th at USATF Championships 2018 in the javelin
• Did not compete his first two seasons before arrival of now Texas assistant coach Zeb Sion
• Threw 65.38m/214-6 to open the 2017 season in his first collegiate meet
• Broke his personal best three times that season and placed third at Pac-12 Championships.
• Danielson was twice named Academic All-Pac-12
• Placed fourth at the Oregon 6A Championships in 2014, fifth as a sophomore and eighth as a junior in the javelin
• All-around athlete in high school, who high-jumped 6-3, ran 11.26 in the 100m, long-jumped 21-2.5 and was also a member of Newberg's 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.
