OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
INDOOR: No indoor eligibility remaining … competed twice unattached … cleared an indoor personal-best 8.02m/26-3.75 at the Leonard Hilton Invitational … ranks as the No. 2 performer in UT history with that mark … claimed victory for the second-straight weekend with a 7.98m/26-2.25 jump at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational the next week … was an IAAF World Championship qualifier during the fall.
2018-19 (Senior)
OUTDOOR: Opened his outdoor campaign with a second-place finish in the long jump at The Reveille Meet … won the long jump with a 7.87m/25-10 effort at the Mt. SAC Relays … launched himself 7.93m/26-0.25 to win the Big 12 title … earned second-team All-America honors at the NCAA Championships … jumped a lifetime-best 8.25m/27-0.75 at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center USATF Last Chance Qualifier … made him the third 27-footer in school history (Eric Metcalf, Marquise Goodwin) … allowed him to qualify for the IAAF World Championships.
INDOOR: Won the long jump in his season debut at the Clemson Invitational … followed it up with another victory at the Charlie Thomas Invitational two weeks later … placed fifth in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships … earned second-team All-America recognition after placing 11th in the long jump at the NCAA Championships.
2017-18 (Junior)
OUTDOOR: Ran in the 4x100m at the Texas Relays.
INDOOR: Finished third in the Corky Classic with a mark of 7.75m/25-5.25 … won the Texas A&M Quadrangular with a jump of 7.85m/25-9.25 … placed third in the. New Mexico Collegiate Classic … won the Tyson Invitational with a mark of 7.90m/25-11 … won the Big 12 title and set another upped his lifetime best with a jump of 7.96m/26-1.5 … placed fifth in the long jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
2016-17 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Redshirted.
INDOOR: Earned third place in the long jump at the NCAA Championships with a personal-best mark of 7.83m/25-8.25 … the fifth-best performance in school history at the time … placed third in the Big 12 Championships with a jump of 7.64m/25-0.75 … won the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational … won the long jump at the Texas A&M 11-Team Invitational … finished second in the long jump at the Rod McCravy Memorial.
2015-16 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Finished 13th in the long jump at the NCAA Championships to earn second-team All-America honors, the first of his career … cleared a personal-best 7.70m/25-3.25 at the NCAA West Preliminaries … placed fourth to qualify for the NCAA Championships … finished third in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships with a mark of 7.65m/25-1.25 … won the long jump at the Texas Invitational with a jump of 7.62m/25-0.
INDOOR: Finished sixth in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships … posted a personal-best jump of 7.69m/25-2.75 to finish second at the Tyson Invitational … made his collegiate debut with a second-place finish in the long jump at the Power Five Invitational … cleared 7.59m/24-11.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered all four years in track and field … was the field event MVP, member of the All-State track team and third-place medalist in the 4A State Championship long jump as a senior.
