OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
INDOOR: Finished fourth in the pole vault at the Leonard Hilton Invitational after clearing 3.51m/11-6.25 … earned Academic All-Big 12 honors for the second-straight year … was one of four Longhorns to be nominated with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
2018-19 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Opened her outdoor season by clearing 3.40m/11-1.75 at the Roadrunner Invitational … improved at The Reveille Meet two weeks later with a 3.76m/12-4 clearance and a ninth-place finish … jumped her collegiate best (3.91m/12-10) at the Michael Johnson Invitational, topping the podium.
INDOOR: Placed 14th in the pole vault at the Houston Invitational, her first competition since April 2018 … logged a 3.58m/11-9 clearance to finish seventh at the Texas A&M Aggie Twilight.
2017-18 (R-Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Competed in the pole vault at the Texas Relays, Texas Invitational and the Michael Johnson Invitational.
INDOOR: Finished 13th at the Texas A&M Quadrangular and sixth at the Texas Tech Classic & Multis.
2016-17 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Redshirted.
INDOOR: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered from 2013-16 in the pole vault at Brentwood Christian Academy … was a salutatorian and National Merit Finalist … three-time TAPPS 3A state champion in the pole vault (2014-16) … a member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Louis and Ann Hughes … has one brother, Will, and one sister, Jane … father, Louis, and grandparents, Charles and Cora Lee Hughes, all attended The University of Texas.
