Heather Vacek enters her 22nd year with Texas Athletics and second as Texas Baseball Director of Operations in 2023.
Vacek oversees the program’s day to day operations, coaching staff support, scheduling, team travel logistics, events, and camp operations.
Previously, Vacek provided administrative support to Texas Baseball for 20 seasons, including the 2002 and 2005 College World Series National Championship teams. Throughout her time at Texas, Vacek has also worked with track and field, soccer and other spring sports programs.
A graduate of the University of Texas with a bachelor’s in kinesiology, Vacek resides in Cedar Park with her husband Ryan Vacek and their three children, daughters Brady and Maddy and son, Fletcher.
