• Pitched five perfect innings of relief, retiring all fifteen batters he faced in just 51 pitches with the help of six strikeouts against No. 18 Stanford (2/28).
• Earned a win against Missouri, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out four over 7.1 innings.
• Pitched 7.0 innings, allowing four hits and one run, while striking out nine batters in a win vs. Iowa (3/13).
• Earned the win over Texas Tech (3/27) allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three over 6.2 innings.
• Had a four-start span in which he didn[apos]t allow an earned run in 35.1 innings and a six-start span where he allowed just one earned run in 50.0 innings.

• Earned first collegiate win with 1.2 scoreless innings of relief and striking out four batters against No. 15 Rice.
• Threw 2.0 innings of scoreless relief with three strikeouts in series opener against Kansas (3/14).
• Recorded three strikeouts and one runs, yielding just one hit over 2.2 innings of relief against Nebraska (3/29).
• Logged first collegiate save in series finale against Nebraska (3/30), throwing 2.2 innings of shutout relief with two strikeouts.
• Hurled 3.2 innings in relief against Oklahoma (4/4), giving up just one run on two hits to earn his second career win.
• Pitched 3.2 innings of hitless shutout relief with three strikeouts to earn save in series finale against Missouri?(4/13).
• Threw 5.1 innings in relief against Oklahoma State (4/19), giving up one run on five hits while striking out five.
• Recorded third save of the season, throwing one shutout inning against Baylor (5/4) with one strikeout.

• Pitched for the La Crosse Loggers under the direction of Coach Andy McKay in the Northwoods League over the summer.

HIGH SCHOOL
• Four-year varsity letterwinner for Coach Dan English[apos]s Coppell (Texas) High School baseball team as a pitcher and outfielder.
• Tabbed a preseason All-American and earned all-area designated hitter honors despite being hampered by injury as a senior.
• Earned all-state and District 6-5A MVP honors while leading the Cowboys to a bi-district title as a junior.
• Named all-district and helped Coppell to a regional semifinal appearance as a sophomore.
• Earned District 6-5A Newcomer of the Year recognition while helping Coppell to a district title as a freshman.
• Pitched and played in the outfield for Coach Linty Ingram[apos]s Dallas Tigers in the summer, helping the team to a 64-11 record.
• Threw a no-hitter at the Connie Mack World Series, just the seventh in the history of the tournament.
