Appeared in 20 games and started 15 ... batted .246 while recording 15 hits, five runs, three RBI, and one triple ... the first fours games he appeared in as a Longhorn he recorded a hit, and three of the games he had two hits ... was one of eight Longhorns to record a triple which came against Sam Houston State on Feb. 26 ... at Stanford on March 1 he went 2-for-4 as the designated hitter ... he had four games with two or more hits ... he was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2012 fall semester and the 2013 spring semester.

Moynihan had to sit out the 2012 season after transferring from Orange Coast College.
ORANGE COAST COLLEGE (2011)
He hit .453 during his sophomore season and was named Orange Empire most valuable player ... recorded 34 runs, eight doubles, three triples, one home run and 10 stolen bases.
UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO (2010)
In his 2010 freshman season, he made 15 starts in 34 games and batted .388 (19-for-49) with 12 runs scored, one double, one triple and two RBI ... he was a perfect 6-for-6 on the basepaths .. drew three walks while striking out three times ... recorded nine sacrifice hits.
HIGH SCHOOL
Along with playing baseball at Cathedral Catholic High, Moynihan also competed on the football, track and field and basketball teams ... played baseball for coach Gary Remiker ... finished his high school career with the second most steals (88) in San Diego County and the fourth most hits in a career in the County ... batted .430 with six home runs and 28 steals as a senior ... in his junior season, he helped the Dons win the CIF championship ... as a sophomore, he batted .470 with 61 hits and 34 steals while earning a place in history for the second most hits in the county for a season ... two-time all-state honoree in baseball while earning three-time All-CIF and All-Western League honors ... named team most valuable player in his sophomore and senior seasons ... participated in the 2008 Area Code Games and the Junior Olympic team trials ... drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 31st round of the 2009 major league baseball draft.
