SOPHOMORE (2020)
Played in seven games and started six times … missed UT’s contests against UTEP, Texas Tech and Oklahoma through injury … caught 23 passes for 294 yards and three touchdowns … made six catches for 49 yards and one touchdown against TCU … also made his first career start against the Horned Frogs … caught seven passes for 70 yards and one touchdown in a road win at No. 6 Oklahoma State … made three catches for 59 yards and one touchdown versus West Virginia … hauled in two passes for 47 yards against No. 13 Iowa State … made four receptions for 55 yards at Kansas State.
FRESHMAN (2019)
Played in all 13 games, contributing as a slot receiver and as the starting punt returner for much of the season … caught 25 passes for 274 yards and six touchdowns … his six receiving touchdowns were tied for the fourth-most among FBS freshman … they are also the second-most by a freshman in Texas history, trailing only Roy Williams’ tally of eight in 2000 … caught four passes for 31 yards in his collegiate debut – the season opener against Louisiana Tech … hauled in his first career touchdown, a 20-yard strike from QB Sam Ehlinger, against No. 6 LSU … finished with six catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns against Rice … one of his touchdowns came on a 53-yard connection with Ehlinger … his six catches tied for the 10th-most in a game by a UT freshman and his two touchdowns tied the Longhorns’ freshman record … it was the seventh multi-TD outing for a freshman receiver in school history and the first since Collin Johnson in 2016 … caught five passes for 47 yards across Texas’ first two Big 12 games against Oklahoma State and West Virginia… finished with four catches for 34 yards and one touchdown against Kansas … got back in the scoring column with three catches for 51 yards and a 26-yard touchdown reception against Texas Tech.
