Named Academic All-Big 12 Second Team … played in 10 games, playing in the season’s first nine games before missing the final three of the regular season due to injury, but came back for the bowl game … made 10 tackles, with 1.5 sacks, and two QB hurries on the season … made one solo tackle in the season opener against Maryland … also played in a week two 56-0 win over San Jose State … had two tackles and one-half sack on the road in a double-overtime loss to No. 4/4 USC … had one tackle and one quarterback hurry as the Longhorns sacked Iowa State QB Jacob Park four times in holding him to less than 50% passing in a 17-7 win … had two solo tackles in the Longhorns’ 40-34 double-overtime win … played in the AT&T Red River Showdown against Oklahoma … made a solo tackle to force a three-and-out against Oklahoma State … had one sack for a loss of eight yards in Texas’ 38-7 victory at Baylor … recorded two solo tackles, one TFL and a quarterback hurry … made one tackle at No. 10/12 TCU before leaving the field due to an injury … returned from injury to help the Longhorns to a 33-16 victory in the Texas Bowl against Missouri.
FRESHMAN (2016)
