Saw action as a reserve defensive back and on special teams in the first five games before missing the remainder of the season due to injury … had a career-high six tackles vs. New Mexico State … posted three stops against BYU … had two stops against Ole Miss … registered three stops vs. Iowa State before suffering a torn ACL and missing the rest of the year.
SOPHOMORE (2012)
Saw action as a reserve defensive back and on special teams in nine games … posted one stop on special teams against Wyoming … also had a stop in the Ole Miss game … missed the Baylor, Kansas, Texas Tech and Iowa State games with a lower leg injury … recorded one special teams tackle against TCU … made one tackle in the Alamo Bowl against Oregon State.
FRESHMAN (2011)
Played in all 13 games with eight tackles and one caused fumble … saw time on both defense and special teams … in the Holiday Bowl he had his best performance of the year with season-high tying three tackles and a caused fumble to help the defense hold California to 7 rushing yards and 195 yards of total offense … tallied a season-high three tackles at Iowa State and one each against Rice and UCLA.
