2020-21 (Freshman):
OUTDOOR: Ran personal-bests in the 1500m and 10,000m at the Texas Relays at 3:49.20 and 30:27.84... Competed in the 3000m steeplechase at the dual meet against Texas A&M and finished second with a personal-best time of 9:06.09.
INDOOR: Ran a personal-best time in the 3000m to win the Wooo Pig Classic with a time of 8:01.30... Finished second in the mile at the Charlie Thomas Invitational with a personal-best time of 4:02.08... Finished sixth at the Tyson Invitational with a personal-best in the 5000m at 13:48.73... Helped Texas finish second in the DMR, sixth in the mile and ninth in the 3000m at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in both meets of the cross country season... Finished sixth in the 8K at the Arturo Barrios Invitational with a time of 24:07.4... Finished with a PB time of 24:06.8 in the 8K at the Big 12 Championships to finish 17th.
HIGH SCHOOL: Only the second male to qualify for the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships four times … won three state titles in track at Mike A. Myers Stadium (2019 800m, 2018 1600m and 2018 3200m) … finished second at the state meet in the 3200m in 2019 … won three consecutive cross country state championships after finishing third as a freshman.
PERSONAL: Sister, Gracie, also signed with Texas in the 2020 class.
