· Competed in the 400m and relays at the University of Texas at El Paso.
· Placed third in the 400m and second in the 4x400m relay at the Indoor Conference Meet.
· Named to the Dean[apos]s List for the fall semester.
· Participated in the UTEP Boys and Girls Club.
HIGH SCHOOL
· Four-year letter winner and three-year captain in track at JM Hanks High School for head coach Kim Gomez ... competed in the 100m, 200m, 400m and relays.
· State champion in the 400m her senior season.
· Finished second at regionals her junior and senior seasons.
· State qualifier and sixth place finisher in the 400m her junior season.
· Named Rookie of the Year her freshman season.
· Earned Athlete of the Year honors from Hanks HS her final three seasons.
· Named to the All-City and All-District teams by the El Paso Times her final three seasons.
· Member of the Wings Track Club (2008-09) ... competed in the 400m, 4x400m and 4x100m relays ... placed third in the 400m at nationals and fourth at regionals in the 4x100m relay in 2008.
