Outdoor (Sophomore):
· Received All-Big 12 honors and placed first in the high jump at Big 12 Outdoors with a mark of 5-8.75 (1.75m).
· Posted a mark of 5-11.25 (1.81m) in high jump and tied for first in NCAA Outdoor prelims.
· Placed second at both the Victor Lopez Bayou Classic and the USC Trojan Invite, clearing 5-10.75 (1.80m) at both meets.
Indoor (Sophomore):
· Finished third in the Big 12 Indoor Championships while setting an NCAA provisional mark in the high jump with a personal-best clearance of 5-10.5 (1.79m).
· Cleared 5-7.75 (1.72m) in the high jump at the Texas A&M Invitational to finish first.
· Set a meet record in the high jump at the Texas A&M Dual meet with a clearance of 5-7 (1.70m).
· Ran a personal-best in the 60m hurdles at the Texas A&M Dual meet with a time of 9.53, finishing in sixth place.
2008-09
Outdoor (Freshman):
· Cleared a season-best height of 5-8.75 (1.75m) on her second attempt for fourth place at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships ... first regional-qualifying mark of the season...earned her second All-Big 12 honor after tying for fifth at the indoor meet.
· Posted a height of 5-7 (1.70m) for second at the Texas Invite and the Black and Gold Challenge ... also cleared the height for third at the Rice Bayou Classic.
Indoor (Freshman):
· Posted top-five finishes in every high jump event she competed in during the 2009 indoor season.
· Earned her first All-Big 12 honor after tying for fifth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a mark of 5-6 (1.68m).
· Tied for second place at the Leonard Hilton Memorial after clearing 5-8.75 (1.75m).
· Notched a third-place finish at the Big 12 vs. SEC competition with a mark of 5-6 (1.68m).
· Registered a jump of 5-5.75 (1.67m) for fifth place at the Texas A&M Invitational.
PRIOR TO TEXAS
· Four-year letterwinner in track and volleyball at Midland Senior High School ... also lettered in soccer for two years.
· Midland High School athlete of the year all four years of her high school career ... also a four-time first team all-district selection in volleyball.
· Four-time district high jump champ (2005-08) and three-time regional high jump champ (2006-08).
· 2007 Texas State Class 5A High Jump Champion after clearing a lifetime-best height of 6-1 (1.85m) ... ranked No. 1 in the nation in the event.
· Claimed the 2007 Region 1-5A meet high jump crown with a clearance of 5-10 (1.78m).
· Listed as one of USA Today[apos]s girls top performers of the year as a senior.
· Competed in the 2008 Olympic Trials.
PERSONAL
Born September, 9, 1989 to Paul and Susan Lucas in Midland, Texas ... two older siblings -- Lauren and Matthew ... Academic All-District selection in volleyball and track all four years of high school ... plans on majoring in liberal arts.
