AS A SOPHOMORE (2008-09)
• teamed up with Jimmy Feigen, Ben Van Roekel and Dave Walters to win the 200 freestyle relay (1:16.89) at the Big 12 Championships; split 19.57 on the second leg
• placed sixth in the 50 freestyle (19.88), seventh in the 100 freestyle (43.85) and first in the 100 butterfly consolation final (48.56) at the Big 12 Championships
• took fourth in the 50 freestyle (20.59) against SMU
• placed sixth in the 50 freestyle (20.60) and eighth in the 100 freestyle (45.03) against Arizona
• took fourth in the 50 freestyle (20.80) and seventh in the 100 butterfly (52.07) at Georgia

• anchored UT[apos]s 11th-place 200 medley relay in 19.45 at the NCAA Championships, as the relay finished in 1:26.93; anchored the relay in 19.36 in the preliminary round
• placed 20th in the 50 freestyle (19.69) and 27th in the 100 freestyle (43.57) at the NCAA Championships
• captured his first Big 12 title in the 50 freestyle, winning in a personal-best time of 19.52
• placed third in the 100 freestyle (43.32) at the Big 12 Championships; clocked a personal best of 43.11 in the preliminary round
• placed sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:38.02) at the Big 12 Championships

• competed for five years with the Aggie Swim Club
