· Placed third in his 500-yard freestyle consolation heat (4:31.48) at the Big 12 Championships
· Completed exhibition swims in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:29.42) and the 400 IM (4:01.37) at the Big 12 Championships
· Swam exhibitions in the 500 freestyle against California and Indiana (4:44.52), Arizona and SMU (4:43.30) and Texas A&M (4:46.97)
· Placed fourth in the 1000 freestyle against Florida (9:35.94) and Texas A&M (9:34.71)
AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06)
· Placed second in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:24.79) at the Big 12 Championships
· Took fourth place in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:35.35) against Texas A&M
NATIONALLY
· Named to the All-American top-500 his freshman year of high school
· Placed fifth in the 1,650-yard freestyle in the Southern Zone Sectionals
