2008 U.S. OLYMPIC TRIALS
· Placed 22nd in the 200m backstroke (2:01.77) and 34th in the 100m backstroke (56.85)
AS A JUNIOR (2007-08)
· Competed in the 200 IM preliminary round (1:51.77) and completed exhibition swims in the 100 backstroke (49.72) and the 200 backstroke (1:47.16) consolation finals at the Big 12 Championships
· Won the 200 IM consolation final (1:50.85) at the Texas Invitational
· Also competed in the 100 backstroke (50.29) and the 200 backstroke (1:47.47) at the Texas Invitational
· Placed eighth in the 200 backstroke (1:52.87) against Auburn
AS A SOPHOMORE (2006-07)
· Competed in two events at the Big 12 Championships, clocking 49.48 in the 100-yard backstroke and 1:53.89 in the 200 IM
· Competed in the 100 backstroke in three regular-season meets, headed by a sixth-place finish (51.25) in his consolation heat at the Texas Invitational
· Participated in the 200 backstroke in four regular-season meets, led by a third-place consolation round finish at the Texas Invitational (1:48.28) and a fourth-place showing at Florida (1:50.64)
· Placed fifth in his 200 IM consolation heat at the Texas Invitational (1:53.99)
· Also competed in the 200 IM in four dual- and tri-meets, headed by a sixth-place finish at Florida (1:56.04)

· Swam a season best in the 100-yard backstroke (51.50) at the Texas Invitational
· Posted a season best in the 200-yard individual medley (2:00.58) at the meet with Florida and California

· Six-time All-America
· In 2004-05 earned All-America honors in the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard individual medley and as a member of 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays

· Named the 2004-05 San Antonio Area Swimmer of the Year
· Named the Swimmer of the Meet at both the 2005 District and Regional Championships
· A two-time all-state honoree (2004-05)
