A five-year wide receiver played in 51 career games and started 23 … posted two 100-yard games in his career … was an all-state performer in high school … also a member of the Texas Track & Field program … finished second in 110H at 2016 Big 12 Championships and competed at NCAA Championships in Eugene in both the 110H and the 4x100m Relay … a second-team All-American as part of the 4x100 Relay team … competed in 110H at the 2017 NCAA Championships … finished eighth in 110H at 2018 NCAA Championships … two-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (fall 2015; spring 2018).
REDSHIRT SENIOR (2019)
Played in all 13 games and started six times … made five catches for 52 yards … started the first three games of the season … made his first catch of the season, an 18-yard reception, at Rice … hauled in a 13-yard touchdown reception at West Virginia … made three catches for 21 yards at TCU … also contributed on Texas’ special teams units.
SENIOR (2018)
Played in four games (Oklahoma, West Virginia, Iowa State, Oklahoma) … made his season debut and had one catch for nine yards in a 48-45 victory over No. 7 Oklahoma … played on special teams and offense in the win over No. 18 Iowa State, registering one tackle … played in his fourth game of the season, both on offense and special teams in the Big 12 Championship Game against Oklahoma.
JUNIOR (2017)
Played in all 13 games … finished the season with 11 catches for 177 yards and a touchdown … had one catch for six yards in the season opener against Maryland … caught two passes for 99 yards against No. 10/11 Oklahoma State … his first catch of the day went for 90 yards, the sixth-longest in school history and longest non-touchdown play in school history … the reception set up a touchdown on the very next play, however … caught one pass for 25 yards in the Longhorns’ 38-7 road victory at Baylor … caught one pass for five yards in the Longhorns’ loss at No. 10/12 TCU … had four catches for 33 yards in a 42-27 victory over Kansas … played in the Longhorns’ 28-14 win at No. 24/25 West Virginia … had one catch for two yards against Texas Tech … caught a seven-yard touchdown in the first quarter of a 33-16 Texas Bowl victory over Missouri.
SOPHOMORE (2016)
Played in nine games and made five starts (Notre Dame, UTEP, Cal, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma) … had 18 catches for 201 yards and a touchdown … caught a career-high six passes for 111 yards in a 50-47 2OT win against No. 10 Notre Dame … also caught a touchdown pass - a 72-yard reception down the sidelines … caught two passes for 28 yards in a week two win over UTEP … caught four passes for 36 yards in a week three loss at California … two catches for 16 yards against Oklahoma State … caught two passes for 6 yards against OU … had two catches against West Virginia.
FRESHMAN (2015)
Started all 12 games … led the team with 457 receiving yards (No. 6 on the UT freshman list), while finishing second in receptions with 28 and tied for the team lead with two receiving TDs … his two receiving touchdowns were for 84 and 69 yards (76.5 ypc), the third and 12th-longest receptions, respectively, by a freshman in UT history … caught multiple passes in eight games, reaching his season high of four on four occasions … pulled in his first collegiate receptions, a 48-yarder, at Notre Dame … scored a TD on a 69-yard reception (12th-longest on the UT freshman list) against Rice … set his season high with four receptions for 65 yards (16.3 ypr), including a 43-yarder versus Cal … had a four-yard catch against Oklahoma State … recorded two catches for 36 yards at TCU … made two receptions for five yards versus Oklahoma … secured two catches for 25 yards against Kansas State … registered two catches for 11 yards at Iowa State … shared team offensive MVP honors against Kansas by setting a season high with 113 receiving yards (No. 11 on the UT freshman single-game list) on four receptions (28.3 ypr), including a 84-yard TD, the third-longest reception by a freshman and tied for ninth-longest overall in UT history … hauled in a 37-yard pass at West Virginia … totaled four catches against both Texas Tech (23 yards) and Baylor (21 yards).
