PRIOR TO TEXAS
• Ran for the Dallas Metroplex Striders from 2010-12 under coach Terry Jessup
• Helped the Striders to USATF national cross country championship in 2011
• Four-year letterwinner in track & field and cross country at Coppell, competing in the 1,600m and 3,200m events
• Also lettered two years in swimming
• Captain of the cross country team in 2010 and 2011
• Earned all-state honors in cross country during her junior campaign after winning the individual district title
• Helped team to a sixth-place finish at the UIL 5A state championships as a sophomore
