2018-19
Outdoor:
• Competed in the decathlon at the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
• Placed eighth in the shot put at the Michael Johnson Invitational after launching the orb a personal-best 13.04m/42-9.5.
• Concluded his season with a 55.16m/181-0 mark in the javelin throw, a personal best, at the National Relay Championships.
2017-18
Outdoor:
• Participated in the decathlon at Texas Relays, but withdrew after day one where he had a personal best 4,159 points
• Threw the shot and discus at the Texas Invitational
2016-17
Outdoor:
• Finished 8th at the NCAA Championships in the decathlon with score of 7,737 points to earn first-team All-America honors
• Posted a personal best in the shot put at NCAA Championships
• Placed 3rd at the 90th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays with a total of 7,897 points, becoming the No. 4 performer in school history and registering the 7th-best performance in school history, setting career bests in the 110m Hurdles (14.66), discus (40.89m), long jump (6.95m), shot put (12.67m), and high jump (1.97m)
• Competed in decathlon at USATF Championships but withdrew after 2 events
Indoor:
• Finished 7th in the heptathlon at the NCAA Championship with 5,791 points, winning the 1000m event with a time of 2:34.15
• Placed 2ndat the Big 12 Championships in the heptathlon with a career best score of 5804 pts, winning the 1000m (2:34.44) and setting career bests in the 60m hurdles (8.27) and long jump (6.99m/22-11.25)
• Part of a 1-2-3 finish in heptathlon at Big 12 Championship with Steele Wasik and George Patrick to help Longhorns win overall team title
• Finished 4th in the heptathlon at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, winning the 1000m portion with a time of 2:38.84 and placing 2nd in the 60m with a time of 6.95
2015-16
Outdoor:
• Did not compete... redshirt season
Indoor:
• Finished 3rd in the heptathlon at the Big 12 Championships
• Won the 1000m portion of heptathlon at Big 12 Championship to jump into second in final overall standings
• Claimed second in the pole vault (4.94m) and 60m (7.05) during heptathlon at Big 12 Championship
• Posted a career best 12.88m in the shot put at the Husker Invitational.
2014-15
Outdoor:
• Finished 7th in the decathlon with 7,650 points at the NCAA Championships to earn first team All-America status.
• Posted 4 event personal bests during NCAA Championships
• Placed 2nd in the decathlon with 7305 points at the Big 12 Championships
• Came from behind to climb leaderboard during final event of both meets
Indoor:
• Won the heptathlon at the Big 12 Championship with 5,717 points
• Placed 6th in the heptathlon at the NCAA Championships with a personal best 5,747 points, the No. 6 performance in school history
• Posted presonal bests in 6 of 7 events during Big 12 meet
• Then posted 4 PR’s during heptathlon at NCAA Championships
• Also competed in open events at Rod McCravy Memorial
2013-14
Outdoor:
• Finished 14th in decathlon with 7,444 points at NCAA Championships to earn second team All-America status from USTFCCCA
• 3rd place in decathlon with a score of 7,602 points at Big 12 Championships
• Posted personal bests in 6 of 10 events in decathlon at Big 12 Championships
• Tallied best marks in decathlon field at Big 12 meet in 100m, 400m, 1500m and pole vault
• Posted fastest 1500m time in decathlon at NCAA meet as well
• Won 110m hurdles at Michael Johnson Dr Pepper Classic in 15.30 seconds
Indoor:
• Finished 4th in heptathlon with 5,290 points at Big 12 Conference Championships
• Posted season-best score 5,335 points at Razorback Invitational to finish 2nd
• Posted the fastest times in heptathlon in the 60m hurdles and 1000m during Big 12 Championships
• Ran personal best time 7.03 seconds in 60m hurdles at Razorback Invitational
• Finished 5th in 60m hurdles at Arkansas Dual, clocking 8.44 seconds
PRIOR TO TEXAS
• Captured the 2013 USATF Junior National decathlon title
• Represented Team USA in the event at the 2013 Pan American Junior Championships
• Was ranked the No. 1 U.S. high school decathlete in 2011 and 2012 by Track & Field News
• Placed 4th at state meet in pole vault and the 400m dash his senior year
• 3-time AAU All-American as a prepster
• Claimed the decathlon title at the AAU Junior Olympics with a total of 7,274 points, which was 1,099 ahead of the silver medalist
• In placing first overall in the decathlon, won 5 of the 10 events
• The 2009 AAU Intermediate Decathlon Champion with 7,274 points
• 4-year letterwinner in track and 2-year letterwinner in football at Belton High
