· competed in two events, with a top finish of 87th place at the Auburn Tiger-Derby Invitational
· began play in the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational but was forced to withdraw due to shoulder injury.

Transferred to Texas in the fall of 2006 from TCU ... daughter of Marty and Pam Akins ... member of the Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll (Fall 2006) ... father, Marty Akins, an All-American quarterback for The University of Texas (1972-75) and 1995 UT Hall of Honor inductee, was a Texas Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in 2001 and formerly served as the head men[apos]s and women[apos]s golf coach for Huston-Tillotson University ... has two siblings, Tara and Grady ... cousin Drew Brees is a quarterback for the New Orleans Saints and played at Purdue ... born on October 25, 1985.
