Why Texas?
“Texas is one of the most competitive rowing colleges with some of the best facilities and support for both academics and rowing. I love the size of UT and that despite how big it is, it has a family vibe and I feel a part of something.”
What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
“Rowing has shown me how to work hard and that if you work hard at something you can benefit from the results. I have learned so much from rowing; lessons applicable to the sport as well as my own wellbeing. It has made me more aware of time management and how to look after myself. I love the physical challenge of the sport and that it constantly pushes you to new levels. I’ve also made some of my greatest friends through rowing and it has a community that I will always feel part of.”
