Why Texas?
“I chose Texas because I wanted to be at a University where the combination of top-level education and athletics is unmatched. Texas offers so many opportunities to invest in my future and career as well as become a better athlete.”
What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
“Rowing gives me the opportunity to accomplish new things and be competitive. My favorite thing about rowing is the response that you get from the water when you are doing well. I feel powerful and cared for by my teammates and I think that’s a big part of what sports are supposed to be about.”
