Why Texas?
"I chose Texas because I wanted to be surrounded by like-minded, determined women and to push myself to my fullest academic and athletic potential."
What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
"I attended a UT rowing camp before my junior year of high school, after hearing some friends suggest it. However, since there was no rowing team in my county, I did not continue. Luckily, I randomly tried out rowing in college and have continued to enjoy it. I love that I can be surrounded by people who fully push themselves and motivate me to do the same, making each other proud."
